About Us

Growing up in Nigeria, we witnessed firsthand how many parents struggled to provide their families with the basic necessities of life. I lived in poor rural communities where the majority of families were very poor, and their children did not go to school because they could not afford it. Even if they could, the schools were very low quality, and the poorly taught students could not compete with children attending schools in the cities. In addition, many of the children in these households were severely malnourished and were dying at a young age from minor, easily preventable, and easily treatable diseases. Unfortunately, the government could not help most of these families, and no government programs were in place to help them. Sadly, the cycle of poverty, illiteracy, and ill health continued for many of these families as their children grew up to become uneducated and poor, without access to resources that would help them break that cycle. 

 

PNU Global Inc. was thus formed to help underprivileged families, especially in rural communities in Africa, break the cycle of poverty, illiteracy, and ill health. ​Our vision is to take one family and one village at a time. By helping these families break the cycle of poverty, we hope to have a multiplier and generational effect that will expand far beyond our current interventions.
